The Cypress House Bed and Breakfast was built in the 1940's as a small, private Outer Banks hunting and fishing lodge. The interior is noted for it's unique soft cypress tongue-and-groove paneled walls and ceilings. Many of the locals refer to the house as the “Cherokee Inn” since the house was known by this name for many years.
We have six guest rooms, each newly decorated in tranquil shades of nature to reflect the beauty of the Outer Banks. Guest rooms have private shower baths, ceiling fans, a micro-fridge and cable television for your enjoyment and wireless internet access. Bikes, beach chairs, and beach towels are available to our house guests.
Guests of the Cypress House Inn awake each morning to the smell of freshly brewed coffee along with homemade breads and muffins. Coffee and tea will be available for early risers on the baker’s rack outside the rooms. Take a cup to our large wrap-around porch and then enjoy our home-baked full breakfast in the dining room. |
