The brewer is great because they work to have great quality food in a comfortable and festive setting. The idea for the brewery started in 1992 and has been going strong ever since.
The Outer Banks is the very first brewing station that operates on wind power. They work to be innovative and help others learn about renewable energy. Wind power is actually the fastest growing and cheapest source of renewable electricity in the united states.
They offer some great choices to eat as well as wine, beer and other assorted drinks to enjoy. They have 11 beers on tap with another 8 that you are able to take to go. Then, of course, they have their bottled beers like bud, bud light, miller lite, PBR, omission (gluten-free) and becks which is a nonalcoholic beer. If you are feeling more like wine or some mixed drinks there are options for that as well.
They also have quite the variety on their menus, they have a lunch menu, dinner menu, kids menu, gluten-free & vegan menu, dessert menu, and a brunch menu with so many options to choose from you won't know where to start. Their lunch menu has things like hot pretzels, hot wings, spiced shrimp, crab dip, and calamari. They also have salads, soups, and sandwiches. Their dinner, gluten-free and vegan menus are much the same. Their brunch is every Sunday from 11:30 am until 3 pm they serve eggs benedict, biscuits & gravy, omelets, hashbrowns, shrimp 'N' grits and more great options. They also have some great drinks to go with your brunches like mimosas, mimosa, grand mimosa, and a spicy bloody mary. Then, of course, there is the dessert menu. They have great options like the vanilla bean creme brulee, bread putting, carrot cake, lava cake, German chocolate cake and more. Stop in for great food and drinks.
